The Evil of The Holy Spirit Board and Ouija Boards

Some say the Ouija Board is a tool to contact the dead, others say its a tool to contact evil (the Devil). My take on it as a paranormal investigator and an exorcist is that it should be buried in the earth somewhere in a far away land or burned in a Holy Fire. There are a few cases of victims being possessed by the Ouija Board.

One case that comes to mind is the case of Roland Doe in 1949. There were several newspaper articles printing reports of an alleged possession of a 14 year old boy that ended in exorcism. With this case there was a diary kept of the events kept by the attending priest Father Raymond J Bishop detailing the the events of the case and the many exorcisms that performed on Roland Doe. According to the traditional story of this case, during the exorcism at Georgetown University Hospital. Roland Doe allegedly slipped one of his hands out of the restraints, broke the bedspring from the mattress, using it a s weapon to slash the priest's arm which resulted in the exorcism being halted.

He was then brought to St Louis where the case was assessed by William S Bowdern and Raymind J Bishop in his relatives home. Together they observed the bed shaking, objects flying around the house, and the boy speaking in a guttural voice while having aversions to anything sacred. The Bishop granted Father Bowdern permission to perform the exorcism on Roland Doe. The exorcism would take place at The Alexian Brothers Hospital.

This case began because Roland Doe was playing with a Ouija Board with his Aunt who passed away shortly before the case became a case. Now there are spirit boards that claim you can talk directly to Jesus Christ himself. Its called The Holy Spirit Board. The Holy Spirit Board, which is another version of the Ouija Board that is all. Its just another way to conjure up a demon that will wreck your life.

It is marketed on amazon as "GET THE ANSWERS YOU NEED- The Holy Spirit Board can answer all of life's most important questions, straight from the man himself. Huge 12x18 game board with beautiful artwork featuring the crucifixion and the angels of heaven. Beautiful golden magic cross planchette with metallic mirrored finish. Perfect for churches, prayer groups or just getting together with friends. Unlike other spirit boards, this one will NEVER contact evil ghosts or demons, so you ask your questions with an assured sense of safety."

There is even some rules on how to play the game. "The rules are as follows:

  1. Place the game board on a table or other sturdy flat surface

  2. Place the Magic Cross on the board

  3. Have everyone lay thine hands upon the magic cross, and say the following prayer: "Oh Magical Jesus, please guide our hands to answer our questions, AMEN!"

  4. Next, ask Jesus a question. It can be any question that you want! Jesus knows everything!

  5. Let the Holy Spirit guide your hands to move the Magic Cross around the board. You can ask a "yes or no" question, or, let the Magic Cross spell out your answers one letter at a time! When Jesus has answered all your questions, don't forget to say goodbye! And remember anyone who says that the Holy Spirit Board doesn't work is both a liar and a sinner in the eyes of our Lord. Amen.

Our Lord doesn't use magic and should never be associated with magic. To do so you are BLASPHEMING the Lord. And so since I don't believe in this board I guess I am a liar and a sinner. Well we are all sinners but I don't lie especially when it comes to a serious situations like this. Why would have any reason to lie about this I've seen the consequences of playing with spirit boards like this. You should even go near this board or go to a museum of spirit boards because if there is an entity attached to any one of these boards or a board that is an open portal, anything can walk in and attach itself to you and make your life a ;living hell.

Now let me tell you something. This board IS A DOORWAY TO DEMONS JUST LIKE THE OTHER OUJIA BOARDS!!!! Call me a liar and a sinner because i don't care what you think, your wrong. In the eyes of our Lord Jesus Christ this board is Blasphemous. Do you want to have spiritual problems? Dou want a demon to possess you and ruin your life? Because if you do than use the board, but if you don't and want to live a life of grace than go to Church and pray to our Lord, Pray to Our Lady, read your Bible, because that's the only way to speak to Our Lord

There is only one way to speak directly to Jesus. The only way to do this is to pray and read your Bible. This is the only way to speak to him, not through a Ouija Board. The bible condemns Divination and Magic in Deuteronomy 18:9-12.

Child-Sacrifice, Divination, and Magic Prohibited

9 “When you come into the land which the Lord your God gives you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you any one who burns his son or his daughter as an offering,[a] any one who practices divination, a soothsayer, or an augur, or a sorcerer, 11 or a charmer, or a medium, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord; and because of these abominable practices the Lord your God is driving them out before you.

Deuteronomy 18:10-11 Forbids anyone from being an auger, diviner, soothsayer, sorcerer, or someone who consults ghosts, familiar spirits or the dead. It also forbids anyone from consigning a child to the fire.

Deuteronomy 18:11-12 Condemns anyone who casts spells, is a medium or spiritist or consults the dead.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church in Catechism 2115 states "God can reveal the future to his prophets or to other saints. Still, a second Christian attitude consists in putting oneself confidently into the hands of Providence for whatever concerns the future and giving up a;; unhealthy curiosity about it. Improvidence, however, can constitute a lack of responsibility."

Catechism 2116: "All forms of divination are to rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to "unveil" the future. Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of power over time, history, and, in the analysis, other beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers. They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone."

Catechism 2117: All practices of magic or sorcery, by which one attempts to tame occult powers, so as to place them at one's service and have a supernatural power over others-even if this were for the sake of restoring their health-are gravely contrary to the virtue of religion. These practices are even more to be condemned when accompanied by the intention of harming someone, or when they have recourse to the intervention of demons. Wearing charms is also reprehensible. Spiritism often implies divination or magical practices; the Church for her part warns the faithful against it. Recourse to so-called traditional cures does not justify either the invocation of evil powers or the exploitation of another's credulity."

So now knowing that the Church has denounced divination and other mystical practices, what will you do. My advice on how to get rid of it is 1. Bury it deep in the woods and bury the planchette far away from the board deep enough they will not be near each other, 2. Give it to your local church to be burnt in a Holy Fire and/or 3. You can give it to me by sending it to Rev Dan Todd P.O. Box 201 High Bridge NJ 08829 and i will keep it safe where nobody will ever find it. This isn't a game, this is serious. Remember this if you become demon possessed and hurt or kill someone than that's something you will have to live with the rest of your life and maybe while you do prison time. Is that what you want? Can you live with that?
